Principal Transport Planner
Ref: ENV/12/08 up to £36,657 plus Welcome Payment of £3,500 Warrington
Join us and you’ll help to develop and produce the Borough’s Local Transport Plan, leading the production of its associated delivery and progress reports and also playing a key role in monitoring its performance.
To impress us, you will need some experience of working with public bodies, consultants, contractors and members of the public to ensure the effective delivery of transport and highways schemes.
Graduate Transport Assistants
Ref: ENV/13/08
Transport Planning (1 x permanent, 1 x 12 month fixed
term contract) up to £29,728 plus Welcome Payment of
£2,500 for the permanent
position Warrington
You’ll be involved in everything from pedestrian and cycle schemes, to major public transport and congestion reduction initiatives, playing your own part in the future development of a town that’s set to become one of the UK’s major transport hubs. When you’re not seeing projects through from initial planning through to final delivery, you’ll have the opportunity to help develop transport models using programs like SATURN and Paramics.
You must be appropriately qualified for the job and, ideally, have experience of working within a transportation or highways environment.
Principal Engineer (Network Development and Control)
Ref: ENV/14/08 up to £36,657 plus Welcome Payment of £3,500 Warrington
In this position you’ll manage the provision of highway and transportation advice on both land use allocations and individual planning applications. You’ll also play a big role in supporting our Local Transport Plan, ensuring that income and expenditure are accurately monitored at all times.
To be considered, you’ll need to combine significant post qualifying experience at Senior Officer Level with great interpersonal, report writing and presentation skills.
Senior Engineer (Network
Development and Control)
Ref: ENV/15/08 up to £29,728 plus Welcome Payment of £2,500 Warrington
As well as working closely with developers to ensure that new projects are serviced by an appropriate standard of transportation infrastructure, you’ll also be relied on to assess the impact of such developments on the existing transport situation in
Warrington.
